Genesis 9:18-19
King James Version
18 And the sons of Noah,
that went forth of the ark,
were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth:
and Ham is the father of Canaan.
19 These are the three sons of Noah:
and of them was the whole earth overspread.
Noah had three sons.
Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
From the three, Ham is the father of Canaan.
Whom the Canaanites descended from.
Genesis 10:6

Cush, and Mizraim,
and Phut, and Canaan.

20 These are the sons of Ham,
after their families,
after their tongues,
in their countries,
and in their nations.
Nimrod plays an important part, being the son of Cush.
Know how he, and his people, sinned against the LORD.
